Light As A Creative Tool is a transdisciplinary academic project focusing on light art in various dimensions. It is an art and science conference and a workshop for students performed in public space. Light As A Creative Tool is a format created to enhance students practical skills and to explore and deepen the theoretical backgrounds of light art. A holistic experience involving recognized researchers and visual artists that are using light in their works.
Each edition is carefully designed and has different areas of interest for the audience and students to participate. Conference is followed by a printed publication and workshop is resulting in a final show, open to the public.
Since the start in 2018 we are exchanging ideas and collaborating with academic institutions, international light art festivals, teaching platforms and independent artists and curators from the world.
